In particular, I worked on a novel approach of intracellular recording of action potential exploiting specific biological effect of the light coupled with plasmonic nanomaterials on the cell's membrane. During these years I've deepened my expertises in neuronal network and cardiac electrophysiology, growing tons of cells on multifunctional devices and performing various measurements . Then I moved to more marketable technologies, applying these new concepts in the field of in-vitro electrophysiology and commercial MEA toward the assessment of drug toxicity and adverse drug responses.
