      Synthesis of copolymers by: polycondensation, coupling, Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) technique and their characterization. Preparation of hydrogels, micro- and nanoparticles for drug/gene delivery. Furthermore, I also conducted several drug release studies from the systems obtained. Finally, I worked with cell cultures to evaluate the cytotoxicity, the transfection efficiency and the drug uptake of the systems obtained.
