      Project research for studying microglia behaviour in relationship with lactate pathway in CNS (Central Nervous System). Analysis of particular enzymes, MCTs and LDHs. RNA & proteins extraction and isolation from cells and tissues (NMRI models), BCA assays, SDS-PAGE and Western blots, RT-qPCRs, Fluorescent ICC staining, Free-floating staining (Immunofluorescent Cryostat), cell treatment and maintenance (in particular primary microglia preparation from brain pups), cell functional assays. In vitro and in vivo experiments to investigate the role of lactate in maintaining the homeostasis in microglia, using BV2 cell lines, NMRI primary microglia and NMRI brain slices obtained from extraction.
