I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Giorgia Cappellari as her supervisor on both her BSc and MSc dissertations. Giorgia is perceptive, committed and has a keen interest in food safety and quality. She also showed impressive ability in conducting lab experiments. Not surprisingly, both her dissertations got selected for publishing in scientific journals. During her time doing research she showed leadership qualities, while also being extremely good at collaborating with others. It is rare to come across someone who can work independently and solve problems so successfully. I have no doubt she will prove a valuable addition to any company in the food industry.
