  Working full time as the 2IC of Caroma’s newest design concept center in Alexandria, requires many hats! The space displays Caroma’s most premium bathroom and kitchen products and is staffed by a fully qualified team of industry people. The Flagship staff are working constantly on developing strong relations with Merchants, Builders, Plumbers, Architects, Consumers, Designers and Developers.The job description is dynamic involving consumer-focused design consultations, 3D rendering services, hosting monthly renovations workshops and industry events. It also regularly involves completing specifications, maintaining the 2000m2 space (which houses 1200 indoor plants and the first of its kind VM modeler), contribution in the regular display upgrades, administration and safety.

  Working for Crosby Tiles was a great first look into the world of Design. The role mostly involved colour consultations for prestart customer and gave me the ability to help create schemes desired by the clients whilst staying within the clients selection ranges and individual requirements. I was also involved in designing display homes and Government housing designs for clients with disabilities and aged care requirements. This role helped develop my tile, tiling, grout and plumbing knowledge.
