Gina Straight was my childs online educator. One of the things I liked best was her ability to excite the children for learning. There is an art to doing it online vs the classroom. As I sit in and listen to other teachers so many just don't have it. The other most enjoyable quality she possesses is the ability to listen. In spite of the limited time allowed to teach she was creative about allowing the children interact stay on task and be themselves. My child liked that she spoke to him about how he was doing and what was needed and checked in with me. All too often it is the other way around which does not allow the child to be accountable for their own work. We wish we could have her back this time as a personal teacher for both our children. Thank you Gina most people do not find the work they are meant to do.

Gina is an excellent teacher! She knows research based curriculum and how to use this in the physical classroom and in online classrooms. She learns quickly and knows how to implement this in to her teaching. She has excellent relationships with students and with parents. Gina would be a great asset in any teaching position. I really enjoyed working with Gina! .
