Direct instruction of high school U.S History students from the first day of school until the end of the semester. Began with two class periods and took five by the end of the semester, including an English Language Learner U.S. History class with students learning English. Created seating chart, prepared lectures, power point slides, worksheets, tests, projects, scoring guides, demonstrated successful classroom management, and worked with supervisor, cooperating teacher, and instructional coaches to ensure student success. During student teaching responsibilities, I created four units from scratch, including all worksheets, lectures, activities, Quizlet review flashcards, and test materials. Other responsibilities include professional development meetings, professional learning community and department meetings, tutoring and differentiation of instruction with deaf student and foreign exchange students.
