During this time, Gina worked as Assistan Guest Experience Manager in the touristic company Istraturist Umag d.d. (today Plava Laguna) whose facilities were operated by Melia Hotels International. Melia Hotels International is one of the largest hotel companies in the world and the largest hotel chain in Spain in both resort and city hotels. The company currently operates more tha 370 hotels in 43 countries and 4 continents under its 7 exclusive brands During the first working season, Gina performed as an entertainer where she shown her extraordinary good working skills and team spirit. That is why she was promoted to the position of Assistant GEX Manager. Gina's main responsibility as Assistant guest Experience Manager was to be in charge of ensuring the quality of the service provided to the guests and helping in the implementation and follow-up of the company standards, as well as coordinating and supervising the resort's entire entertainment program. Her daily tasks included constant communication with guests. I found her always to be very pleasant, tackling the assignements with dedication and a smile. She carefully planned and supervised the entertainment offer for children and adults, organized by Activities team and was always very much appreciated by her team members.
