Working at Artemis, I was responsible for initial phone contact with clients. I obtained their demographics, deciphered nature of presenting problem, acquired availability and scheduled new client with most appropriate therapist. I would also keep a comprehensive documentation of phone contact with clients, family members and referring physician, as well as entering client demographics into HIPAA regulated online database. I was also responsible for alerting the Clinical Director of any concerning behavior in the waiting room or phone calls that needed immediate assessment, as well as expressions of suicidality or intent to harm another. My daily responsibilities included scheduling and confirming ongoing client appointments, and keeping files and mailings up to date and organized. I also assisted the Executive Director with billing responsibilities, communication with insurance companies and accounts receivable. Show less

Volunteering in Dr. Thomas Dinzeo's research lab at Rowan University, I was responsible for providing all study information to participants, answering questions and obtaining written consent to participate in study and then administering a battery of psychometric tests to each participant according to study protocol. In addition to data collection, I also maintained the participant schedule and provided documentation for class credit to each participant. I was responsible for maintaining the lab materials for data collection as well. After data collection was completed, I scored individual participant packets and assisted with data entry. Show less
