Oldham, United Kingdom Ferranti were suppliers into the aerospace and defence industry with a heritage that dates back to 1885 but in later years was owned and operated by Israeli defence company Elbit Systems. Since sold to TT Electronics, the company has now ceased under this name. Ferranti were synonymous for inventing the worlds first marketable computer and were responsible for much of the electrical infrastructure that the UK is built on today. Since sold to TT Electronics, the company has now ceased under this name. Ferranti were synonymous for inventing the worlds first marketable computer and were responsible for much of the electrical infrastructure that the UK is built on today. The UKs first power station was built by Ferranti. In later years they provided power systems for aircraft, both military and commercial and represented Elbit's interests in the UK MOD. In 2018 I led internal communications activities aimed at embedding the company mission, vision & values for a successful and sustainable culture. Including; - delivering & facilitating workshops - launching various initiatives to support communication, reward & recognition, team building and business improvement - supporting HR in creating a positive employee experience package

As the sole Marketing employee I oversaw all Marcom activity and managed the Ferranti brand across all collateral. As a business we exhibited at the Farnborough Airshow and DSEi every alternate year so there was always a huge exhibition stand to organise with products varying from software through to demonstrator kits being shipped from Israel, the parent company. I organised over 20 trade shows (lost count), and supported them with brochure material of close to 20-30 products… Show more As the sole Marketing employee I oversaw all Marcom activity and managed the Ferranti brand across all collateral. I organised over 20 trade shows (lost count), and supported them with brochure material of close to 20-30 products over the 9 years. The brand was reinvented and the companies online presence was closely managed and the final website I created had over 50 pages. Unfortunately it doesn’t exist today as Ferranti was purchased by TT Electronics. My role naturally came to an end when the decision was made to cease trading as Ferranti and adopt the name of the parent company and I moved into an internal comms role instead. Due to change in leadership and direction, I decided I needed a fresh challenge and left to pursue my own business.
