  I graduated from the University of Limerick with an LLB degree in 2001 which included German as a language. I commenced my apprenticeship with Lynch and Partners in 2002 and qualified as a solicitor in December 2005. I manage the firm’s Family Law and litigation departments. I specialize in all areas of Family Law including Custody, Access and Guardianship, Domestic Violence applications, Maintenance for spouses and children, Judicial Separation, Separation Agreements, Divorce, Pensions, Recognition of Foreign Divorces and applications for annulment. My experience includes the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court. In addition, I have extensive experience in disputes between non-married couples in cases involving access, maintenance, paternity disputes and property/equity matters. I also trained in the alternative dispute resolution method of Collaborative Law. Litigation is an important practice area of Lynch Solicitors. I am engaged in a wide range of litigation matters and has vast knowledge and experience in cases ranging from the District Court to the High Court. Similarly, I have handled matters in the Employment Appeals Tribunal and less formal venues for arbitration. Lynch Solicitors represent hundreds of Clients that have been effected by the worldwide recall by DePuy Orthopaedics Inc., a division of Johnson & Johnson, of two of its metal-on-metal hip replacement devices; the ASR XL acetabular total hip replacement the ASR hip resurfacing system on the 26th August 2010. Both hip implants were recorded as having “higher than expected failure rates”. I am presently managing all of these claims in the High Court.I lecture regularly in Waterford Institute of Technology on a wide range of matters and am a regular contributor to the local and National radio stations. I have also obtained a Law Society Certificate in Advanced Advocacy for Solicitors and have completed the Law Society Family Law Diploma.
