I have recently started my career in wireline in order to expand my experience and knowledge in the oilfield industry. I have higher aspirations in this industry and would like to be a well rounded individual with down hole operations. Learning is a never ending process , if we choose to take that road . I operate the Accufrac program in the data van as we call it at Sanjel. All the data imputed prior to pumping a frac is recorded on this program and also tells the equipment we are using what to do as far as how far along we are into the job. Pressures and Rates are all monitored during a frac. Chemical and prop pant loadings are also set and sent to the corresponding equipment through this program. As a vacuum truck operator with Lenorah Operators out of Midland, Tx. my duties were simple. Go to tank batteries and pull water or do flow back when requested to do so. That was until the lead driver quit and the company found out i was the only fluent bi-lingual driver they had. Being that 95% of their drivers did not speak English i was given the role as pusher, dispatcher, and interpreter on occasion to handle most of all the batteries in my area . As a corrections officer with GEO Group I mostly worked the segregation unit and the large day pods . Not a whole lot to unit, make sure nobody escapes. This area of work will test your patience, integrity, professionalism, honesty and mostly your physiological readiness. I have heard and seen it all working in the corrections area .
