Assistant Buyer

Jan 2016 - Jun 2018
Working for Jacques Vert, my love for fashion was stimulated daily. Surrounded by my passion, and challenged regularly in a busy, fast-paced environment. Having worked my way up from fashion retail, through to visual merchandising, management and then buying, I believe I obtained a varied, wide range of skills and knowledge that can wield diversely, from working on a total of four unique brands. Jacques Vert was where I reached my fashion buying peak, the brand I had worked towards within my company that was the biggest and required the most work. Whilst working for this brand, I was able to put into action price and supplier negotiation, managing fit sessions and range building. In addition, I took on added duties in order to fulfil my fashion e-commerce and marketing passions within the press team; this included assisting on photo shoots, model booking, studio booking, press show preparation, copy writing and press sample management. I also maintained brand social media accounts, built relationships with models and bloggers and generally assisted the press and marketing teams. Show less

Having worked my way up from being a sales adviser, my passion for styling, and understanding of current trends, visual marketing and leadership skills lead me to the position of Visual Merchandising Supervisor.
