I am a Senior Project Developer with an extensive background in Renewable Energy, advisory services and permitting, across a wide range of regulatory requirements. My responsibilities at ENERTRAG SA include developing a portfolio of ~3GWs comprising wind, solar PV, green hydrogen (and derivative) projects across numerous provinces in South Africa. My primary responsibilities include: • Lead the development of the project pipeline from prefeasibility to fully permitted, to ensure a balanced and de-risked portfolio;• Development of all permits and authorisations towards bid-ready projects for government backed and private procurement programmes up to and including financial close;• Active participation in bid preparation, coordination and response for strategic projects within the development portfolio;• Assist with business development, site and project acquisition, including evaluation of site strategic and development potential as well as assistance with land acquisition;• Assistance with landowner contracting and key stakeholder management throughout the development life cycle;• Accountable for conducting technical due diligence of green field and acquisition renewable energy projects;• Actively manage and co-ordinate the evaluation of wind and solar resource and estimation of site energy yield to bankable standards with internal and external specialists• Planning and budgeting (preparation of investment milestone approvals, budget planning and controls, project schedule and data repository management).
