  Skeg specializes in taking our clients ideas from the back of a cigarette box or napkin through the various stages of product development (including feasibility & discovery, concept & detail design for manufacture as well as prototyping, short-run manufacture and large volume manufacture) with the goal of enabling our client to extract the maximum value out of his idea or product. Our machinists, model makers, composites technicians and assembly staff makes use of a 3D printer, 2x vacuum casting machines, a CNC lathe, 2x CNC mills and a CNC Robot to produce fully working and highly cosmetic prototypes of the products that our in house designers as well as designers from other firms have developed. These skills and machines are not only used to produce prototypes, we also use them to do short-run manufacture for low volume products. The low cost and flexibility of silicone tooling competes well with injection moulding costs and lead times at this level. Show less
