I served with Gianni on Baldwin-Wallace University's Midnight Madness (MNM) staff. MNM is an organization which produces a non-alcoholic event every Thursday night for the student body, and it is an honor to be chosen for their staff. Students involved with MNM typically volunteer 10-15 hours of their time every week to the organization, and they produce events which are attended by 100-300 students every week. Gianni not only was just a team member on MNM, he advanced to be selected as a Team Leader. Team Leaders have the sole responsibility to lead 3 events each semester for MNM. Gianni led, motivated, and directed his team to 3 successful events. As part of my undergraduate education, I chose to engage in an internship at the Berea Municipal Court in the Probation Department. I observed courtroom proceedings, summarized police reports, executed pre-sentence investigations, learned the basic tools necessary to become a Probation Officer, and logged in the various programs and services completed by the Probationers in the Probation software program. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Probation Intern and the Judge and the other employees noticed my hard work ethic and dedication and they offered me a job.
