My position has the full P&L responsibility for the International equipment business unit, covering the activity In CIS, Eastern Europe, Benelux, Scandinavia, Asia, Middle East and Africa. The position reported to the Group CEO. Since my arrival in Ros Roca Environment I have driven the internationalization of the company footprint. As main achievements I can mention the creation of a Joint Venture in South Africa, the opening of a lean manufacturing assembly plant in Malaysia, and the contribution to the creation of a Joint Venture with a leading chinese automotive group. The international growth, especially in new markets, has been meaningful, and currently 90% of total revenues were generated outside Spain. Terex España was a start up company where I personally took the leadership in the network development and in the enlargement of the product portfolio playing a front line role with key customers. Over time a young team took more and more responsibilities and made possible a strong growth in terms of revenue and profitability. In 2002 the company had a loss making P&L with only 10M euro sales but reached in 2007 a net sales of 90 M Euro with 3% ROS. Important achievements during those years were the improvements in brand recognition and customer satisfaction measured regularly. Part of the difficulty of the job was the adaptation of a EU made range of machines to the US safety regulations. During that period I have also been the Project Director of the USMC contract ( 30M USD) for the supply of 569 reach fork lift for military use. During this assignment I took full responsibility for the coordination of the design, the procurement of the components and the manufacturing team in Italy. The adaptation of the technical documentation, and the preparation of the technical bid was done in Conway. The test of the equipment was carried out in the USMC base in Quantico VA. Show less
