•Responsible for overall take-off of material for long lead & common items, prepare MSRs & follow up to get approved Purchase orders. •Follow up of material with different suppliers & assist PM until the delivery of the material at site. •Assign weekly/monthly tasks for the Manpower according to group wise in coordination with site engineers & Foremen for the overall execution of all electrical systems. •Submission of Oracle IRs & get approvals from Consultant’s senior site inspectors. •Attend weekly/monthly progress meetings & complete tracking, finishing, monitoring records etc. •Resolve all core issues associated with site work (NCRs, SONs, SWOs etc.). •Implement safe working practices as per project’s HSE standards & procedures. •Ensure that work procedures & method statements for all work activities are prepared & followed during execution of works. •Coordinate & assist the design/technical department in getting the approvals of shop drawings. •Responsible for IPC, cash flows & sub-contractor’s billing verifications. •Raising RFI for any design related missing information & issue variation orders accordingly. •Prepare & maintain comparative statement sheets for various revised orders for different items. •Prepare & maintain the concise Asset Tools, Material & Equipment inventory records. •Prepare & submit Test Reports (Continuity, Insulation, Meggering, Hi-Potential & earth resistance). •Responsible for updating plans, schedules and progress reports. I started my career as a Site Engineer with M/S United Electrical Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd. (UEE) in Jan-1995 & was gradually promoted as a Project Manager. I worked more than 15 years in that Company & resigned in 2010 after the death of EX-CEO (Late) Engr. Farooq Nadeem Siddiqui who died in a plane crash at Margalla Hills Islamabad, Pakistan. What a person he was & I will remember him for the rest of my life. I started my career as a Site Engineer with M/S United Electrical Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd.
