This role is currently in Bolton and I have worked here for over a year and so on. I am looking for a role that is near to my home as well as a new opportunity. I work on the day shift and this usually starts at 4:00am - 2:30 pm, 5/6 days a week and on short noticed I have worked overtime when needed. I am involved mainly with production and on a limited basis responding to emails and writing up shift reports. My role as Shift Manager is quite similar to my previous role as a Production Manager of High Risk Care. I again lead different departments to ensure goods are being supplied to mainstream supermarkets such as Greggs , Lidl, Aldi and many more. The goods include frozen and ready made meals. I ensured targets were being met during shifts for example, the number of items being packed to supermarkets and to the highest quality. I ensure myself and other workers were following health and safety guidelines. During my time here, I have also received recognition from David Wood and my manager for my input to the company. After working as a Hygiene worker , I then got a job opportunity to work on the Production Line. I would work in a team and individually. I have experience of labelling, packing, reaching targets during my shift. During this role, I worked on the day shift for many years. I would work 6/7 days during my time here and would also work overtime. My manager at the time then gave me the responsibility of leading the production line. The reason being was for my hard work and I performed well in my role as a production worker. This responsibility involved making sure the rest of the team would be following health and safety guidelines as well as ensuring quality was always being met during the day shifts. I then was promoted to Production Manager of High Risk Care - my responsibilities included, leading other departments to ensure that bakery goods for example fresh cream cakes and more were being supplied to mainstream supermarkets such as Morrison and Asda. I would liaise with other Line Leaders to ensure production was moving at a fast paced level in order to meet targets. During my time here, I also would receive praise by the owner and manager due to my hard work and this would motivate me further to do well in my role. The end of the day would be myself writing up shift reports and responding to emails. I would mainly be overlooking and actively being involved on the production line and departments. During this role, I then set the night shift as there was only day shift available. This change, helped the company reach more targets and I would lead large departments during the night shift. I ensured targets were met by motivating the workers with figures of how they performed on the day. I would also ensure workers were supplied with wearing appropriate and safe clothing during their shift for example, safety boots and high- vis. After this the company had been taken over by new owners which then turned into Country Style Bakery Limited. Show less

I would clean toilets, floors and work areas. I would also do the laundry and work by myself or in a team.
