  I spent my sabbatical leave from Golestan University as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Ottawa. I had a research project on provenance of Late Permian and Late Triassic Karst-type bauxite deposits in the Eastern Alborz Mountains, Northern Iran.
