I have known and worked with Ghofran for more nearly five years on our Operations team and while she was a teacher at KIPP Columbus Elementary. Ghofran found success in both the classroom as a teacher and her role in school operations. It wasn’t accidental that her success transcended different responsibilities and different roles. Ghofran’s greatest asset is that she is willing to do whatever it takes to be successful and position her community (be it with a staff or a classroom) for success as well. That combination of attributes will serve her well long into the future of her professional journey and studies.

Ghofran Miari is a remarkable leader. Ms. Miari is someone who truly does go above and beyond for her team. As a teacher, at KIPP Columbus she was committed to ensuring her students received the education they deserved. Her ability to motivate others towards a common goal, engage external stakeholders, internalize and implement feedback, while leading with grace is truly a class act. The KIPP Columbus Elementary team and family is stronger today because of her leadership.
