  • After the legal separation between the global Fortis organization and the Dutch bank part (FBN) fully responsible for the complete IT service (run and change) and the technical and functional IT separation plan. The plan involved the complete new set-up of the risk framework, the funding systems, a new cost accounting vehicle, new consolidation system, new commodity administration etc. • The implementation for the non-domestic part of FBN (Singapore, London, Brussels, Frankfurt, New York, Hong Kong) of a complete new bank administration system, supported from the Dutch datacenter. • The separation program (in total 132 IT projects) was aimed at separating Fortis Bank Netherlands from Fortis Bank Belgium, Fortis Bank Luxemburg, Fortis AG, Fortis Corporate Insurance and Fortis ASR. It was finished as planned on the 1st October 2010. In time, within budget. • Successfully set up a new, efficient IT organization, with a complete renewed process driven, fully compliant operating model, which was focused on optimally supporting the customers and the employees of the bank. • Formulated and Implemented a complete new and agreed, both domestic and international, IT Governance model, which described the responsibilities of and the collaboration between, the IT department and all other business lines and supporting units.

Both from the application development side as from the infrastructure side. • Participating in the set-up of an integrated cross-border IT collaboration model between the Fortis banks and insurers in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg. • Responsible for the complete international IT Infrastructure project portfolio. Which was aimed at integrating the I&O activities and datacentres of the different parts of Fortis.
