Leading and motivating the entire transport team and responsible for looking after 15 drivers and sub contractors which run on a 24 hour basis. On call out of hours and at weekends to deal with any urgent matters.Having worked in Logistics for the past three years and my current role is an exciting blend of operational delivery, strategy & transportation. The enriching dimension of UK delivery & support to group countries widens the scope of my role.In my operational capacity, I have the responsibility to deliver a smooth running of the transport department and liaising with third party courier companies.On the strategic front, I lead the daily route planning and debriefing drivers on their scheduled and ad-hoc pick ups and deliveries.
