  Diverse and Resilient is a statewide public health organization working to eliminate health disparities between LGBTQ people and the general population. This is measured by commonly accepted indicators of health in four areas: mental health, sexual health, partner & community violence, and substance use.The key determinant of these health disparities is anti-LGBTQ discrimination and racism. To that end, our work includes efforts to increase acceptance, end discrimination, and build leadership skills among LGBTQ people.

  Served as the chief executive of St. Francis Children's Center. In partnership with the board, I was responsible for carrying out the mission of St. Francis Children's Center to improve the lives of children with special needs. We did this through the use of special education, regular education, pediatric therapy, and case management in inclusive school and community settings.
