2016 - Dec 2016
Joined Flight Centre October 2015 - to presentI started my travel career in 1986 after earning her certification in travel consulting. With over 30 years in the travel industry, I have planned just about any trip about which a traveler could dream. From world cruising to large group weddings, The landscape of travel in Atlantic Canada has gone through extensive changes over the last few years. I too was affected. As a customer service agent with Canadian Airlines (Air Atlantic), the closing of Canadian Airlines left me unemployed; however, my drive to contribute to the industry led me to join MAI. Recently, I have begun freelancing with Cape Breton Travel (North Sydney) as a way to keep my skills sharp. Having started my travel career in 1987 after earning her certification in travel consulting, I find the role both exciting and rewarding. In my time as an agent (Air Atlantic, Canadian Airlines, Uniglobe Travel, etc….), I have planned just about any trip about which a traveler could dream. From world cruising to large group weddings.
