  Gerry began his career in Germany working in the Business Banking Division of Deutsche Bank, Germany's largest bank. He continued his career with Royal Bank, where he provided financial planning and investment advice on mutual funds for the bank's higher net worth clients. He then took on the role of Director of Research for Cardinal Capital Management, where he provided stock analysis and portfolio management expertise to the firm's ultra high net worth clients. He has worked in the financial services industry in Canada since 1996. He holds the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Certificate in Advanced Accounting through the University of Manitoba. He was previously a Certified Financial Planner and had completed the requisite courses for two financial planning designations. The combination of his formal education and financial services industry experience serve to provide the foundation for his ability to manage portfolios. The time spent working and traveling overseas serves to add context to his global view on investing.
