As Director of Public Safety at The Collegiate School oversee the development and implementation of school-wide crisis response/safety plans, a formalized security operation, and upgrades to the physical security of the facilities. Serve as the emergency management liaison and routinely coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency management officials from the New York City area. Manage the development, implementation and activation of threat assessment teams. Coordinate training and drills for staff, faculty and students. Develop and deliver safety and crisis response training. Assigned as the on-site adviser to the School for the development and delivery professional development to include; table top exercises, orientations and safety-drills. Coordinate and lead strategic planning meetings with senior staff. Formulate and implement new policies and procedures. Manage the department budget to include; identifying and funding external training sources for personnel. Show less
