Served at the strategic level for Health Information Technology, ensuring the needs of the functional users were represented across the strategic decision space, as well as aligning functional requirements to Enterprise strategy. Served on a tri-service board for health IT solutions within my specialty. This board served as the Product Owner for all Health IT within that decision space, using Agile methodology to rapidly deliver viable solutions that addressed both Enterprise and end user requirements. As chair of this board, was responsible for determining requirements, writing actionable user stories, coordinating governance processes to ensure stakeholder consensus, and ensuring technical understanding of functional requirements.

Served as a staff optometrist initially, rendering primary and secondary eyecare within a military treatment facility. Selected to serve as a clinic chief, responsible for managing daily operations of various sized military optometry clinics (5-30 staff members). As part of these duties, leveraged technical skills to improve clinic processes, such as documentation, clinic flow, and patient compliance through innovative use of existing technical platforms.
