  As a Peace Corps volunteer I worked in a rural village along side local farmers and development organizations to promote economic development and improve agricultural techniques. I secured funding and set up the system through which 18 villagers would receive fertilizer on loan each year, secured funding for medicine and helped create a sustainable business based on veterinary services and developed a banking system for 41 villagers to ensure that the village could become self-sufficient in financial matters.
