This recommendation is written with enthusiastic support of Gerber Gomez, MD. I have known Dr. Gomez since October 2022 when, as Chief Medical and Scientific Officer, Quotient, I hired him for position of Medical Director, Autoimmune and Allergy Programs. During our tenure together Dr Gomez exhibited exceptional qualities and expertise in performing the role required in Medical/Scientific Affairs. His past experiences, as a practicing physician and in Pharma related Medical/Scientific Affairs clearly provides him with the tools required to successfully complete his job. He always anticipated and prepared exactly what was required of a Medical Officer as the Company moved through the process of product development and launch. Gerber has been instrumental in the continued interactions with our Scientific Advisory Boards. Gerber was directly responsible in his first year of employment for the submission of 5 abstracts, and associated posters, to high profile Scientific Congresses and the preparation of 2 peer reviewed publications. He has exceptional writing abilities and has developed the skills to successfully incorporate both medical and technical writing into a research article. He contributed to the development of the Company’s Investigator Initiated Research Program, Evaluator Program, and Innovator’s Circle. Gerber developed and provided highly regarded internal medical training to various Company teams and was an appreciated participant in monthly Companywide Townhalls. Gerber worked closely with the Commercial teams to assure appropriate and medically correct portrayal of Quotient products. He was lead in the medical response to customer complaints and potentially reportable events. During the last year Gerber resumed new responsibilities relating to the preparation and execution of performance studies needed for EU IVDR regulatory submissions. He was actively involved in all phases of these studies from protocol writing to final submission of the required regulatory documents. Working with a small team, everyone must contribute and expand their responsibilities beyond what may be initially anticipated. Gerber always volunteered to assist in any function to

I highly recommend Gerber as an exceptional colleague and valuable team member. During our time working together, he served as a medical advisor, leveraging his extensive knowledge in the medical field to support our sales meetings with clients. Gerber's generosity, excellent team spirit, and unwavering commitment to his work were truly remarkable. His eagerness to learn and grow was inspiring, as he consistently sought out new opportunities to expand his expertise. It was a pleasure working with Gerber, and I truly miss his positive contributions. Any organization would be fortunate to have him.
