  The resort was far behind with maintenance and organization. During the year we had a lot of work to prepare the resort for Travel Operators and Guests and added the beach and restaurant. The Resort restaurant on the resort we brought successfully to 4 star level. With on the spot training we got the staff where they should be with good service and enthusiasm for a good service to our guests. Fantastic team, all locals from the area. Step by step we made the resort ready with this fantastic team and excellent maintenance team with Luis as manager, they had to work under high pressure and they did a marvelous job. Thank you all for your excellent performance. The resort has a total of 136 rooms, the biggest resort in Nicaragua

  The task was a quick turn-around on two Beach resorts at Tobago. We increased rapidly the occupancy and quality of the resort, installed and trained a good sales team and reception staff, increased staff services, new menus, employee training and we installed FTO and Health and the Safety rules from Virgin Air. We created interest from Virgin air for a second flight. Quickly many business and government meetings were arranged for sure thanks to an excellent sales person on Trinidad. Both resorts quickly returned to profitability and 230 employee positions secured. The resorts have diving and water sports facilities and the best * Spa in the region, which we re-initiated.

I became more and more involved with the ABN/AMRO and on request of the bank I checked hotels and restaurants or managed them for a while. During the last 12 years I bought and sold companies for myself. The last 2 years I became involved in international trading mostly commodities. After 25 years I wanted to go international and we moved to Curacao, Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean.
