With 4 maintenance technicians who carry out the preventive and corrective maintenance of the area in 4 shifts. I am responsible for administering the molding area, installation, set up, maintenance, and repair of, precision plastic injection molding machinery (Milacron Maxima 125, 250, 450, 550, 725, 950, 1100, 1760 and 1800 ton, Van Dorn 750 ton and Niessi 950 and 1100 Ton IMM’s) and equipment used in all plant appliances (washing machines, compressor, chiller and refrigerators), Branson Ultrasonic welding heater plate machines. Order parts and maintain inventory. Responsible for training and working very close with injection technicians to meet production goals and improve the production process. Schedule and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Maintain production line machinery at peak efficiency to meet production goals. Train new employees in machine operations and production processes. Install and operate auxiliary equipment such as: water heaters, dryers, hot-runners, Wittman Robots, granulators, compressors (Ingersoll-Rand), and refrigeration units.
