In my current role as Project Manager at The Star, I deliver core IT infrastructure to support the growing business requirements in a challenging 24/7 environment. I work closely with a variety of key stakeholders from the IT Project Team, multiple business divisions, Construction Project Team and key vendors. Scope includes delivery of new edge data location, commissioning of Cisco network chassis switches, Cisco wireless infrastructure, optical fibre connection to core network and Siemon certified CAT6 structured cabling. Other projects currently in initiation include, delivery of a web based application for hotel guests and event monitoring tool for alerts and regulatory compliance.

As a Project Manager at CPB Contractors, I was responsible for the end to end project management and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects. These included mobilisations, relocations, expansions and closures throughout the Asia Pacific region. My role has expanded to include programmes of work and organisational IT start-up. As a Project Manager within the BigW IT Division, I was responsible for the provisioning of IT services to BigW stores, regional offices and distribution centres across Australia. This encompassed all facets of the retail landscape, including point of sale, communications, customer interaction and multimedia. Projects included refurbishments, new sites, upgrades and rollouts. Success in this role involved;- - excellent communication between all stakeholders of the project within both IT and Business partners; - management of multiple projects concurrently from inception to implementation and benefits realisation, using iterative project management methodologies - establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with multiple vendors - budgeting and financial astuteness in managing the capital budget I was also responsible for managing a team of Project Coordinators, and was instrumental in mentoring and leading them in achieving project success.
