Gerard Gibert is the CEO of Venture Technologies, an IT Solutions Provider and Cloud Services Provider headquartered in Ridgeland, MS. Founded in 1986, Venture has locations in several states including MS, LA, AL, TN, CO, WY, UT, IL and WI. With a staff of 284, Venture delivers a variety of IT infrastructure, cloud and business application solutions to thousands of private and public sector customers. Mr. Gibert earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of Mississippi. He worked as a senior consultant in the Management Information Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen & Co., the division that eventually became Accenture. He was named to one of the first classes of the Mississippi Business Journal’s “Top 40 under 40”, and has been honored by the Association for Information Technology Professionals as the Mississippian of the Year (1996 and 2013). His company is currently listed as number 270 of the top 500 Systems Integrators in the U.S and as a member of the CRN Elite 250 Technology Solution Providers in the nation. The MS Business Journal lists Venture as one of the fastest growing private companies in Mississippi and has recognized Gibert’s firm as one of the “Best Places to Work” in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He has also served on numerous IT industry councils. Venture has also earned numerous awards from its Technology Partners including Cisco Systems, EMC and LIfeSize. Venture is currently pursuing an aggressive expansion strategy with the intention to establish the company as a national IT Solutions Provider.

Served as a Senior Conultant in the Management Information Consulting Division (MICD), the organization that ultimately became Accenture. Served as a functional and technical analyst, designer, developer and project manager on numerous large scale software development and implementation projects, with a focus on public sector clients, specifically state retirement systems. Obtained deep expertise in standardized software project methodologies and in the architecture of automated pension fund accounting systems.
