      PROJECT: Advanced Stabilizing Properties Enhancement for Coextrusion Tie-layers. Funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR). It is an industrial and academic consortium made up of three academic partners: CEMEF, INSA-IMP, ORSAY-LPS, and three industrial partners: ARKEMA, LEYGATECH and BARBIER. The objective of this project consisted in the study of the development of interfacial instabilities generated during the coextrusion process of multilayers films, for food packaging application. Results: Demonstrate the influence of the post-coextrusion stretching on the development of these defects, studying the parameters involved during the stretching, combining optical evaluations, rheology and mechanical testing.       PROJECT: Study of Dielectric Elastomers as Artificial Muscles The objetive of this project was to performed characterization of morphology, mechanical and dielectric properties of Carboxylated Nitrile Rubber (XNBR) and the determination of its electro-mechanical characteristics, to be used as artificial muscles. Results: Demonstrate the influence of different crosslinking agents in the electro-mechanical response of the artificial muscles.
