  For 25 years, managed the Division of Communicable Disease Prevention, and for 8 years managed the Office of Epidemiology & Community Health Monitoring. This was a senior management position in the Health Department. Prior to working in Kansas City, I worked 5 years in the Veterinary Public Health Unit of the Florida Department of Health & Rehabilitative Services.
