Some of these purchases include books, office supplies, computer hardware, software, and licenses. Also included are services such as security and temporary personnel as well as purchasing items necessary through the bond issue to furnish and complete new libraries and update existing libraries. The position utilizes the PeopleSoft E-Procurement module to create requisitions for both catalog request as well as special requisitions. This position also initiates request for Master Agreements for recurring purchases. This includes establishing appropriate specifications and scope of work in order to identify minimum requirements, provide a method to evaluate whether a vendor can comply with specifications, and be clear enough to enforce contract once a bid is accepted. This position must coordinate with other agencies such as the Office of Economic and Small Business Development and Risk Management Division in order to complete the Requisition Checklist. The position also uses the county P-card to make purchases and uses PeopleSoft to balance credit card purchases with credit card bill on a monthly basis. As a P-Card coordinator this position is responsible for completion of the P-Card reconciliation process for all Libraries Division card holders. The position monitors budgeted expenditures in order to ensure funds are available in appropriate accounts to purchase required supplies, materials, and equipment. The position provides customer service with internal and external customers.
