      I was in charge of a small team of customer relation advisors. I would handle and review allocation of complaints to ensure it was fair. I would take escalation calls from customers who had requested to speak to someone higher. I would handle the personal development within my small team by consistently having monthly 1-2-1's to review their progress to ensure they would meet their overall targets. Once identified that a team member was exceeding their targets, I would ensure that they were given the opportunity to progress and pick up any additional tasks. Along with handling their personal development I would also manage HR tasks and review any disciplinary action. Within the larger team, I would meet weekly with the other senior members of the team to ensure the team is hitting targets collectively, bounce idea's from one another and to offer any assistance with annual leave etc. I took on the role of ensuring the team was engaged and motivated and would find ways to do this, ensuring team members had time away from their desk. I enrolled within the team 'employer of the month' and 'management recognition of the month' - I found this bonded the team as a whole. Getting to hear what their colleagues had said about them and the work they had completed that month gave them the extra push to succeed.
