I spent a semester studying at UQ on my year out from City. The modules I studied were journalism, sociology, music subcultural studies and Aboriginal art. This allowed me the chance to travel and meet new people, which pushed me way out of my comfort zone. Altogether, the whole experience provided me with the confidence and motivation to work to the best of my ability in my final year and further within the media industry.
