  As an ABA Therapist at Learning4Life I work in the early intervention program for children with autism between the ages of 2 and 7. The aim is to help them generalise their skills which they will use in school and the broader world. Behavioural therapists break target behaviours down into small, manageable steps that they teach the child to apply together as a meaningful, independent skill. It involves repetition, positive reinforcement, success and time. As a therapist I am a part of a team who evaluates the child’s progress via systematic observation and data collection.
