  Upon completing my degree, I have gained an opportunity to work for Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) which is one of 38 LEPs operating across England. Since the launch in 2011 OxLEP have played a key role in driving forward a dynamic, growing and sustainable economy for Oxfordshire.I provide communications and events support by working within the OxLEP Business team helping provide a series of workshops and events funded by the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).

  On completion of my work placement I then had the opportunity to continue to work for Edge Hill University’s corporate communications team. This enabled me to gain more experience of the industry whilst studying for my degree and allowed me to further my knowledge of the industry and apply what I was studying to real world situations. This opportunity provided me with valuable knowledge and experience which is applicable to both my studies and to my future career.
