- Project Managing intern research on various Burmese human rights issues related to AAPP activities. - Responsible for the writing of statements, press releases, op-eds, and briefing papers. - Updating AAPP’s documentation process including structure and format of political prisoner lists; outdated political prisoner profiles, and the monthly Chronology. - Managing and overseeing the creation of AAPP’s monthly publication– the Chronology. - Conceptualised and initiated AAPP’s ‘Monthly Newsletter.’ - Wrote guidelines for staff on how to conduct ethical interviews with marginalised populations. - Managing AAPP’s social media, particularly Twitter: 1) To date secured a 50% increase in new followers, and a 1,200% increase in tweet impressions, 2) Implemented a ‘Tweet of the day’ strategy, 3) Conceptualising and implementing various social media ‘Special Day’ awareness raising initiatives.
