As the Head Coach, it was crucial that I had strong communication abilities in order to send weekly (sometimes daily) emails to the team, work with the managers and volunteers to run the meets smoothly, and appropriately speak with parents about their swimmers’ performances. Additionally, this position allowed me to become more detail oriented because I had 156 swimmers whom I entered into all their races and organized their times pre and post competitions.
