I worked very closely with George throughout our stay at Machine Dynamics Laboratory in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. George was the group leader of a challenging project focused on the controls of a double inverted pendulum. He was required to implement advanced control algorithms, namely Model Predictive Control, and design a robust systematic approach in order to anticipate strong nonlinearities and external disturbances. I am really proud of working and cooperating with such a talented and hard-working person. Keep up the good work, George.
