  My role as Regional Development Officer is to support and develop all clubs within the South. This includes, working with Phab Clubs and insuring they are maintained and supported. Working in close liaison with club members, especially leaders and committees. Furthermore, that club leaders are informed of support from Phab e.g. KIT, grants etc. and are given appropriate advice, help and training to run their clubs efficiently. And, to work as part of a national field staff team, servicing Phab South regional meetings and attending staff and other meetings as required.

  I was previously employed at a specialist school for students with autism and behavioural support needs. My role as a teaching assistant required adopting the following responsibilities: supporting the teacher to develop session plans and individual support guidelines, daily lesson records and individual notes, completing risk assessments and other related paperwork. I also tutored students individually and as a group. I eventually was offered the responsibility of teaching Geography and History classes twice on a weekly basis. My role developed over time and I undertook additional duties including the organisation of staff, group email communication to staff and parents, weekly reporting to student’s families and feedback at parent’s evenings.
