    • Production Engineer
      • Feb 2014 - Apr 2019

During my time as a production engineer at Currie & Warner I acquired new skills such as Auto Cad, 8D, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP & CADCAM software which was used for programming an Agie Charmilles ROBOFIL 290 wire erosion machine.I had great fun and enjoyment learning these new skills & quickly began to find new ways to improve efficiency and ways to cut costs.Within this role, I still had to work very closely to the machine setters and tool room staff on a technical level to help problem solve on a huge variety of different issues, from simple issues such as a form tool that had been manufactured on the Robofil 290 not cutting correctly or the more complex issues such as timing & ratio error when radius generating on a component with a tight tolerance or a circuit board & linear scales issue on the Robofil that needed to be investigated before investing money on a repair. While I was subjected to many challenges throughout this role it had shaped me to become a better Engineer technically and with my ability to work along side others when problem solving. In April 2019 I earned the promotion of a duel role, one where I was kept in production engineering but also supervising a team of staff on the shop floor.
