Christopher Gruber
I had the opportunity to work with George for several years while at the Lake County DOT. As Parts Manager, Safety Equipment and Property Loss Management brought us together on several projects, and day-to-day operations. George is incredibly knowledgeable about purchasing processes, and learns new systems quickly. He always has the big picture in mind, understanding how seemingly small items can effect an entire budget long term. George is also never afraid to simply say he doesn't have answer, but is an expert at getting answers and finding viable solutions.I would gladly work with George again if given the opportunity.

George was one of my clients. I had the pleasure of closely working with him on a couple of projects. I quickly realized his responsibilities included more than just managing a big parts room. He seemed more than capable of managing or supervising the shop mechanics. He was responsible for collecting, entering, and providing analysis information by utilizing our fleet maintenance system and he took great pride in making sure that information was accurate. I have witnessed him delegate a job to one of the mechanics and resolve a problem with the fuel system, all while on the phone with a vendor trying to order a part. George is an honest, hard worker and a valuable asset to any organization.
