I've worked with George at JPMC, NetJets, and CBC Companies, with workloads varying from very low to the proverbial fire hose. He handles very large workloads with style, but the thing that impresses me most about George is that no matter how minimal the work load, while other engineers may be passing the time by reading blogs or surfing ESPN George has found something productive to do. The man is always working. He doesn't have a mirror at his desk, because it doesn't matter if someone sneaks up behind him. I have personally witnessed George grow from a very competent UNIX engineer whom I would consult for difficult technical problems into one of the most well-rounded and knowledgeable Storage engineers I know.
