  A 4 Year Advanced Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering at the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE). This Apprenticeship allowed for hands on experience to be gained within a scientific and engineering environment in conjunction to studying core engineering theory and practices. Work experience on large scale Fusion Energy Research Projects such as the Joint European Torus (JET) and the Mega Ampere Spherical Tokamak (MAST / MAST-U), were split into 3-month placements in different departments around the site.
