Project Manager for design and construction services for the world’s most powerful Laser Accelerator known as BELLA (Berkeley Lab Laser Accelerator) BELLA, was created to further advance the development of laser-driven plasma acceleration. This new technology has dramatically reduced the size, cost, energy usage, and environmental impact of future accelerators, particularly high-energy electron-positron colliders. BELLA’s development will pave the way for future accelerators to be hundreds of times shorter and more compact than current technology allows while producing high-quality electron beams with the same energy levels. UTBF Project Project Manager for design and construction for the nation’s first User Test Bed Facility This is the first program by the Department of Energy to test all construction and equipment related to low energy programs that will determine the future of net-zero construction in the US. Project Manager for Design and Construction of the Phase 1 of NERSC's newest supercomputer, named Edison.. The architecture is a Cray XC30 ("Cascade") water cooled servers installed in two phases. When fully installed in June 2013 Edison it had a peak performance of more than 2 petaflops (1015 floating point operations per second).
